We are having a Open House/Pot Luck Dinner at a House in La Habra Heights after the Homecoming on Saturday, Oct 2. If you are going into Whittier for the HC stop by for dinner. Or just come to the house if not going to the HC. Another chance to have a MINI-Reunion. Contact Susan or Phyllis for more info.

We had a fun 3 day weekend at the Atlantis hotel in Reno. We were also joined by Fernando Sandoval, Judith Johns and Steve Jenkins. Jan Gould set up our iteniary for breakfasts and dinners and Saturday afternoon a Wine Tasting Riverwalk. A small group but we came from the 4 corners of the US. We hope to get together again before the 50th (somewhere in the US) and hope more of our classmates can join in.

The 45th reunion was just wonderful. Need to try and find more classmates for the 50th. Would love to see more of you at next reunion. So many of us in No. Calif., I think we should meet in Reno next year -- what about mid-April at the Atlantis Casino? Need to pick a weekend soon and post it here. What about the 50th near Disneyland and just pick a large hotel and all meet by the pool at a certain time and visit all weekend.

Hi all: I was only there for Saturday evening and Sunday breakfast. It was fun and a little intimidating, trying to put names with faces without looking at the name badge! It was a nice hotel and the service was really good. Start getting ready now to meet up for the 50th.

Hello Everyone. If you missed this reunion you missed a great party. We had the best time and truly missed all of you. We are trying to convince Phyllis to organize a get together next year. Some talk about Reno. See now I have put you on the spot Phyllis. How many are up to going to Reno for a gathering? See you there.

  Phyllis Bell 9/16/2008

Well, the reunion has come and gone. I think it turned out great. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. We started gathering Friday evening in our suite, met for breakfast Saturday morning, sat around the pool (just off the suite) all afternoon, and did more visiting and dancing all evening. Back to the suite for more sharing of memories. Then ending Sunday with breakfast together. I want to thank you all for making my work on this a success. For those that could not attend, we missed you and you were probably talked about if your ears were ringing over the weekend. May we all still be here to enjoy a 50th together again.

The 45th reunion is now set. It will be September 13th, 2008, at the Double tree Hotel in Ontario, CA. Set that date in your calendar and make plans to attend. If you are reading this website but do not wish to add info to your name, just email me and I will add you to my personnel list. We need more addresses, and updates on our classmates. Please email me with any info you may have on others. In January written material will start being mailed out. And just think, we are the Class of 63, and most of us will be 63 years old for this reunion.

I am the chairperson this time, and yes it is the time to start the planning for the reunion for the summer of 2008 Anyone have any suggestions? This is the 45. WOW. Do we want to have it in Whittier to draw the locals? Anyone have any connections to hotels, resorts, or country clubs. I have 30 acres, but am pretty far north.

Hi Everyone. Looking forward to the reunion. Anyone up for a game of golf while we are attending the reunion? Let me know and I will set it up. How about some surfing???? Anyone remember "Grimmies Unite"?

  Susan Miller 7/28/2003
  sdesara@aol.com
And I talked to Kathy Cole from South Whittier at the combined reunion also. Did you read that Kathleen Papaleo?

  Susan Miller 7/28/2003
  sdesara@aol.com
7/26/03. Do you remember from South Whittier Bob Ornelas, Gayle Hughes, Bob Madison, Dennis Oliver, Mike Bolander?? They graduated from Cal Hi. I saw and talked to them at the combined reunion in Irvine. There were several more you might remember but I only caught a glimpse of those. I saw at least 14 folks from Sierra and I think they enjoyed themselves. Hope they bring their enjoyment to ours. Not knowing all the details, and from my point of view, I thought the event was fun and well attended. Rob Sackett evidently had a falling out with his committee and did not attend. Another committee member was in the hospital. For me, seeing and talking to so many there inspired more anticipation toward our upcoming reunion.

Hi All, I have attended our 25th, 30th, and 35th class reunions and really enjoyed them all. Its always fun to see old friends and to make new ones also. Our 40th reunion in September should be one of the best. I am really looking forward to seeing people that most of us havent seen for a long time and sharing past memories. Also, Its great to see new names on our class list. Names like Leonard Cervantes and David Harris. Who is Susan Miller ? Only kidding. Hope to see everyone there. Bruce
